Hammond majors on enclosure modification capability on stand M16
25 August 2016On Stand M16 at the Electronics Design Show, Hammond Electronics will showcase its modification services, with examples of application-specific plastic and die-cast enclosures that demonstrate its in-house capability, which has recently received a further £100k+ investment in additional CNC machines and production engineering and control systems.
CNC milling, drilling, punching, engraving and printing are available, as are EMC coatings, front panel overlays, custom colours for moulded enclosures and a variety of different paint finishes for metal enclosures. PDF drawings or CAD files for all products are available on www.hammondmfg.com, allowing customers easily to specify the modifications required.
Also on show will be a selection from Hammond’s 5000 different standard plastic, metal, extruded and die-cast aluminium enclosures. The recently launched 1551USB, a miniature enclosure optimised for USB interconnect and available in three sizes and five colours is featured, as is the 1553W, a stylish, ergonomically designed IP67 sealed version of the popular handheld enclosure.
