Heber designs electronics for LeakBot - the new Smart Water Leak Detector - on stand A8

19 September 2016

Visitors to the Heber stand (A8) at the Engineering Design Show will be able to see and hear about the design behind the new smart water leak detector for the home.

Introduced by HomeServe, one of the UK’s leading home assistance providers, the LeakBot clips onto the pipe and keeps an eye on the home’s fresh water plumbing systems 24/7, detecting small, hidden leaks before they become a big problem, and sends alerts to a mobile phone if a leak is detected.

The LeakBot is a culmination of cooperation between a number of companies working with HomeServe. Heber designed the electronics for the LeakBot device. Heber has been designing and manufacturing electronics for over thirty years and has worked with some of the best-known global brands in consumer white goods, domestic heating and lighting, security, vending and gaming.

From initial concept, through working prototype to final production, the Heber design team has the skills to create and deliver electronic control system solutions for high volume manufacture using the latest technologies. Heber’s services include hardware and embedded software design, product design, consultancy, product approvals, and assistance with patent filing.

Come and see the LeakBot and discuss this and other product possibilities at Heber’s stand (A8) at the EDS show. Visit our website at www.heber.co.uk.
