Lincoln Binns to launch Pi-Box Pro at EDS 2017

05 September 2017

Lincoln Binns are launching Pi-Box Pro at EDS 2017. This is a professional grade aluminium extruded box kit for the Raspberry Pi single board computer.

It incorporates an extender board to bring all the connectors to one end making installation easier and neater. The Pi-Box Pro kit includes an extender board that takes the power and HDMI sockets to the back of the case along with the USB and Ethernet connectors that are already there. The extender board plugs into the HDMI and Micro USB sockets on the Pi.

The kit includes the board itself plus a 100mm wide carrier plate and the box. The mounting kit includes mounting hardware (screws and stand-offs) for both the extender board and the Pi. Lincoln Binns can customise it with printing or colour anodising and it allows custom panel configurations. For example, the USB sockets can be blanked off if not needed. Also access to the SD card can be controlled. Mounting options include DIN rail and wall mount lugs. Come to see the Pi-Box Pro on stand M17.

This year Lincoln Binns are showcasing their enclosure design and prototyping capability. This is in contrast to many rival companies who simply sell cases. “We get our customers to market faster”. Our stand has experienced engineers available to discuss all your project needs.
