Meet the experts in robotics and mechatronics from Robotae on stand F105

05 October 2016

Robotae, the technology consultancy specialising in robotics and mechatronics, is behind the electronics of Kickstarter sensation Carv, the world’s first wearable to analyse skiing technique. Visit their stand F105 at the Engineering Design Show.

“Robotae gave us high level advice and support with their extensive experience in electronics, allowing us to optimise the cost and performance of our product,” says Jamie Grant, co-founder of Carv, a digital ski coach which provides feedback in real-time as users navigate the slope.

Visitors to the Robotae stand at EDS will see video footage of Carv in action, alongside other client products such as innovative sleep sensing headphones.

In addition, Robotae founder Dr Rathbone will be demonstrating on the stand the impressive Symmetre robotic platform, which delivers omnidirectional movement – rotating on the spot, moving forwards, backwards and sideways.

Robotae has expertise in mechatronics, integration of hardware and software, balanced systems architecture, PCB design, machine vision, machine learning, real-time embedded software, rapid prototyping and much more.
