RS Components to deliver two workshops on LoRaWAN kits and Node-RED at EDS 2016

04 September 2016

As well as seeing them on stand F9, find out more about using LoRaWAN kits and Node-RED at two workshops hosted by headline sponsor RS Components.

From 13.15-13.55 in Workshop Theatre 3 on Wednesday 19th October, RS present Nick O'Leary from IBM who will deliver a workshop on connecting devices to the Internet of Things using Node-RED. The workshop will give an overview of the simulation capabilities within CST STUDIO SUITE for EMC/EMI analysis of High Speed Electronics. The integration of 3D and Circuit Solvers offers the workflow for simulating the effect of the switching elements in the 3D environment which is critical for accurate analysis of Power Electronics and Digital Electronics. CST will also discuss some use cases from Automotive applications where simulation was used by its users for troubleshooting EMC issues in electronic products.

From 12.15-12.55 in Workshop Theatre 1 on Thursday 20th October, RS present Jonathan Pearce from Microchip who will deliver a workshop on IoT solutions using LoRaWAN. LoRaWAN has become established as the leading technology within the LPWAN space, with a fast-growing ecosystem of ready-to-use solutions available today. This workshop will provide an overview of the technology and its capabilities, a view in to the LoRa® Alliance and its growing membership, plus real world examples of both public and private LoRaWAN deployments.

Make sure to visit the RS stand to see the latest Microchip LoRaWAN kits, and an IOT demonstration showcasing Node-RED!
