Technotrans returns to the Engineering Design Show for a third year

04 August 2017

Bespoke chilling solutions will be the key focus on the technotrans stand (D60) at the Engineering Design Show (18-19 October) and a small scale cooling system will be on display, an example of its expanding range.

“Temperature control is absolutely critical in a number of industrial applications and working with a company that has the R&D and production resources to create effective, workable solutions is vital,” says Stuart Packer, business development manager at the UK arm of technotrans in Colchester.

Technotrans - which owns Termotek (specialist in small scale cooling applications), KLH (specialist in laser applications) and GWK (specialist in temperature control in polymer processing) – has that capability and has worked on a range of projects so has a great track record.

“We love The Engineering Design Show; it’s a great opportunity to meet the movers and shakers in industrial design, to discuss issues and offer advice and to link up with businesses looking for expert partners,” says Mr Packer

technotrans has handled cooling enquiries with capacities ranging from 150W up to 1.5MW and across a range of industries including airport security, transport, medical, IT, packaging and printing.

Group manufacturing facilities include four German sites, one in the US and another in China. technotrans offers both air- and water-cooled solutions, active and passive. There are many compressor options and these are selected according to factors such as cooling capacity, physical size, power supply, noise and price.

In addition to cooling solutions the company also offers full service engineering support and multi lingual document handling and manual creation.

Stuart Packer will be joined by his German colleague from Termotek Denis Roessel, global sales manager. Both will welcome questions and enquiries at the stand.
